FHL selected as an approved G-Cloud supplier

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has announced FHL Cloud Solutions (FHL) as an approved G-Cloud supplier on the Digital Marketplace, opening up numerous public sector opportunities.

The Digital Marketplace supports the Government vision of a public sector ‘Amazon’ meaning that FHL, as a fully-compliant supplier, is able to deliver services to Government departments across the UK.

Launched in 2012, the G-Cloud is an agreement between the UK Government and suppliers that provide cloud technology and services. It is designed to drive down costs by allowing public sector bodies to purchase standardised services from approved suppliers, rather than having to sign-up to a variety of contracts with differing terms and conditions.

Andrew Peddie, Founder of FHL says, ‘We are extremely pleased to be selected on the UK Government’s latest iteration of G-Cloud. We are looking forward to the new opportunities presented via the Digital Marketplace and to further expand our presence within this vital part of the economy.’

FHL provides a wide range of services on the G-Cloud framework, specialising in NetSuite solutions and the associated services for implementation, training and support.

FHL has partnered with GovData and utilised its expertise in order to tap into and realise the opportunity available through Digital Marketplace.

FHL Cloud Solutions is Honoured with NetSuite EMEA Partner Award for a Seventh Time

29 May 2018 – FHL Cloud Solutions (FHL) was named NetSuite 2018 ‘Solution Provider Partner of the Year for EMEA for a seventh time at NetSuite’s SuiteWorld18 event in Las Vegas. FHL was also honoured with a NetSuite 5-Star Award.

Oracle NetSuite, one of the world’s leading providers of cloud-based financials / ERP, HR, Professional Services Automation (PSA) and Omnichannel commerce software suites, named FHL its leading partner for EMEA. No other provider has won the accolade as many times as FHL.

The award recognises FHL’s continued success in securing new clients, expanding its market share and delivering high-value subscriptions through its exemplary consulting and implementation services. The award is especially impressive as FHL has been through a period of significant change, which included becoming part of RSM UK in November 2017.

The team at FHL is one of the most accomplished in the industry and winning NetSuite’s Solution Provider Partner of the Year for EMEA again builds on that success,’ said Andrew Peddie, managing director, FHL Cloud Solutions.

Our year-on-year success is due to an extremely skilled team that understands the many challenges faced by businesses when sourcing a new business system. By working hand-in-hand with our clients to implement a NetSuite solution that’s perfectly suited to their needs, we ensure project targets are hit time and time again,’ continued Peddie.

FHL was also awarded NetSuite’s highest 5-star partner status at SuiteWorld18 for the fourth time, cementing the company’s leading position in Europe. Awarded to only a small number of partners worldwide, this accolade is given to NetSuite solution provider partners for sales revenue achievements.

Peddie adds, ‘It’s a fantastic accomplishment to be named amongst the top tier of NetSuite partners worldwide. As an elite cloud provider, we have no intention of standing still and look forward to continued growth and success.’

FHL reports revenue increase during year of great change

FHL has major growth plans and is ramping-up headcount

14 May 2018 – FHL Cloud Solutions saw a single digit revenue increase for financial year ending 31 March 2018. This is despite a year of significant change, with FHL becoming part of RSM UK in November 2017. The combined FHL and RSM businesses has formed the largest and leading NetSuite provider across Europe.

With the backing of RSM – a leading audit, tax and consulting firm – FHL is planning to drive revenue growth by 30 per cent (for financial year ending 31 March 2019) and almost double headcount.

‘To sustain revenue growth the same year as being acquired is a phenomenal achievement’, says Andrew Peddie, Managing Director of FHL Cloud Solutions. ‘This proves the resilience and professionalism of the FHL team. With RSM’s support, we’re now in an even stronger position and look forward to fast and sustained growth.’

FHL, which is a 5 star NetSuite solution provider, plans to increase its professional services capacity in order to fulfil the growing support needs of its own clients as well as RSM’s international client base. This will involve an intensive recruitment drive in partnership with Staffordshire University that will see FHL’s headcount substantially increase over the next 12 months.

Peddie says, ‘The professional services team, which provides first-rate implementation, training and ongoing support services, is our largest growth area. We’ll be working in partnership with Staffordshire University to recruit high calibre graduates and apprentices so that we can increase the bandwidth of our team.’

‘Our growth ambitions will undoubtedly consolidate FHL’s position as Europe’s leading cloud solutions provider’, adds Peddie.

TechSparx speaks to Andrew Peddie about FHL’s success and NetSuite plans

Andrew Peddie, MD of FHL tells TechSparx all you need to know about FHL in one comprehensive interview.

Tell us in one sentence what FHL offers?

“Best in class” cloud business systems.

How is your service different from competitors?

There is an array of cloud providers on the market, however most are small ‘boutique’ outfits that simply don’t have the resources and expertise to provide a quality service.

Some providers also claim to offer “cloud” business systems but these systems aren’t in fact “true cloud”. This means that security will be questionable, they’ll be upgrade issues, poor scalability and unacceptable levels of downtime. On top of this, these so-called “fake cloud” solutions are very expensive to run!

At FHL we provide only “true cloud” solutions built on the NetSuite platform. NetSuite is the world’s most deployed cloud business system and offers first-rate security and scalability, and as it’s paid for via a monthly subscription fee, this makes it highly cost-effective.

And far from being a ‘boutique’ cloud business, over the past 10 years we’ve invested heavily in our team to ensure that our delivery techniques and depth of resource to architect, facilitate and support our clients’ businesses puts FHL a step ahead of the competition. In fact, NetSuite has named FHL European partner of the year five times – more than any other NetSuite provider!

In February, we also scooped two prestigious partner awards from NetSuite for acquiring the greatest number of new customers in 2016 and for generating the highest new customer revenue. Beating over 50 NetSuite partners, these awards strengthen our position as the number one NetSuite partner across EMEA.

What new developments have you got in the pipeline for this year?

Our big focus for this year is expanding our portfolio of NetSuite applications. Latest developments include:

  • WineSuite – A state-of-the-art cloud-based solution for the wine industry. As the only solution of its kind, WineSuite has been specifically developed to make operating within the wine trade as hassle-free as possible. Specialist features include multi-currency capabilities, reserves and portfolio management, bonded warehouse management, an en primeur sales module and duty and bond management.
  • FirstPOS – A powerful point-of-sale solution for NetSuite. Developed for use with traditional electronic point of sale (EPOS) tills and mobile devices, FirstPOS can be used across all devices for the fast and efficient processing of transactions, discounts, refunds and loyalty schemes, improving the retail experience for both staff and customers.
  • SuiteSync Android – This latest app puts the cloud into the palm of your hand by making NetSuite compatible with mobile Android devices. SuiteSync Android can be used offline and when an internet connection is re-established, offline data can be synchronised to NetSuite to allow users to continue working from the cloud.

What sectors do you operate in?

We operate across a wide range of sectors including ecommerce; retail; wholesale and distribution; manufacturing; software and technology; telecommunications; professional services; fine wine; agriculture; medical; and rights management (music & TV). We have also supported many start-up businesses.

Who are your key clients?

We have delivered more than 150 projects from a cross-section of industries. Clients include UK Flooring Direct, Wigan Rugby League Club, Optegra (Fidelity Investments), Semafone (Octopus Investments), Aepona (Intel), Sony Europe, Kainos PLC, Blue Prism PLC, Lafarge, BayWa, Crawford Healthcare, Mr Fothergills Seeds, Isla Bikes, XN Protel and Cineflix.

The key to FHL’s success = our people!

FHL has been named Oracle+NetSuite’s #1 solution partner for Europe, Middle East and Africa once again! This means that we’ve been awarded the accolade for a record sixth time. Such an achievement should not be underestimated, especially against a backdrop of an increasingly competitive market. So how have we done it?

Of course, we provide the very best technology available. Oracle+NetSuite remains the world’s most advanced and adaptable cloud solution for businesses everywhere. Everyone is always on the latest version and by helping a business to accommodate change with little or no IT knowledge, this delivers huge advantages. However, every Oracle+NetSuite provider is on a level playing field when it comes to the technology, so what’s FHL’s particular recipe for success? Why is FHL so adept at tailoring the NetSuite platform to meet the needs of the business – the so-called critical “last mile”?

Quite simply it’s our people! We’re recognised by mid-market organisations as trusted advisors for complex projects, but this hasn’t happened overnight. Ten years ago we started-out with just two people and we now have a team of over 50 experts. Yes, we work hard but it’s not just about putting in the hours.

At FHL, we are people-focused. We choose people who are enthusiastic and talented “do-ers” and who understand the importance of collaborative partnerships with our customers. We invest in apprentices and graduates and then train, nurture and mentor them throughout their careers with us.

The outcome is a highly-skilled team who understands what businesses require and the changes they need to make. A team who relates to business owners and leaders in both small and mid-sized organisations and who recognises the challenges organisations face and how the technology can be tailored to suit.

I have to admit that the secret to our success isn’t rocket science and yet too many solution providers don’t sufficiently invest in their people. We take it seriously, it’s part of our DNA and the results? Well! They speak for themselves!
